HCAA Shines at 2007 Provincial Track and Field Championship           In its inaugural appearance at the 2007 SHSAA Provincial Track and Field Championship, the HCAA had an outstanding result.  Of 14 Districts, the HCAA finished 4th overall in points (299), and had the 2nd highest points total of the 12 districts with large rural components (only South Central finished higher with 324 points). Brianne Theisen (Humboldt Collegiate) led the way, winning an unprecedented 16th individual gold medal in her high school career, and again capturing the aggregate champion title. To attest for the depth of the team, all six 4x100m relay teams qualified for the finals and therefore placed in the points, including a silver and bronze. Though no official record is kept on points per capita, it shall be noted that the HCAA scored the most points per capita (based on grade 10-12 enrollments posted on the SHSAA website) of the 14 Districts.  HCAA earned 0.1460 points per capita, while the second best total was South Central (0.1298 points per capita).
