Medal Haul at 2008 Provincial Curling Championships                                                                                                          HCAA teams played for the gold medal in each of the three SHSAA Provincial Curling Championships held Feb. 28, 29, and Mar. 1, 2008. The provincial host Strasbourg girls team led the way, taking home the gold medal with a convincing 10-3 win over Kelliher in the Championship game. In the boys event held in Saskatoon, Muenster settled for silver after being edged by Langenburg 6-5 in the gold medal match. At Wadena, both Watrous and Wadena played for medals in mixed curling.  Watrous captured the silver medal, losing 6-4 to Balgonie in the Championship game, while the host Wadena squad captured the bronze medal with a 6-5 victory over Yorkton Regional.
