Wadena Runner Finishes Second at Cross Country Provincials Brynn Achtymichuk from Wadena Composite captured the Midget Boys Silver Medal at the 2007 SHSAA Provincial Cross Country Running Championships held near Prince Albert Oct. 13, 2007.  Brynn held off two other runners in a tight race - the top 4 finishers were separated by only six seconds. The other HCAA runner placing in the top 10 was Megan Saelhof (McLellan School in Young) who finished 9th in the Senior Girls event. The HCAA was well-represented in the 1A and 2A categories with 6 of 20 teams at Provincials coming from the HCAA.  The highest finishing team was Three Lakes School (Middle Lake) who placed 4th in the 1A team category.
