Watrous and Foam Lake Capture Provincial Football Silver   Foam Lake (9-man) and Watrous (2A 6-man) are the 2007 SHSAA Provincial Football Silver Medalists in their respective categories. Watrous lost the Provincial Final in Clavet by a score of 48-30.  The first quarter saw Clavet play flawlessly on offense and swarmingly on defense, racking up a 24-0 lead.  Watrous, down 40-8 with one last play in the first half, executed an impromptu shovel pass for a touchdown to close to 40-16 at the half, and proceded to score one minute into the second half to get within two scores.  At one point, Watrous had closed to within 10 points, but Clavet's defense stiffened and held off the Wildcat attack. The first half in Foam Lake ended with the home team clinging to an 8-6 lead.  The second half, however, was much less a defensive struggle, with both teams combining for total of 56 points and Unity prevailing 49-21.
