HCAA Sand Golfers Finish Strong at Provincials                  Jordan Hegglin from William Derby School in Strasbourg captured the boys silver medal at the 2008 SHSAA Provincial Sand Greens Golf Championship held in Frontier on Sept. 19 and 20.  Jordan, the three-time defending Provincial champion, was unable to match the scores of the local favorite who won by eight strokes. The HCAA boys captured four of the top six places in sand golf.  Justin Bryksa (Strasbourg) finished fourth, Dylan Bentz (Raymore) finished fifth, and Scott Dustyhorn (Kawacatoose) tied for sixth.  Stephanie Acton placed sixth in the girls competition at Provincial Sand Golf.  In the team competition, Strasbourg captured the bronze medal. The grass greens competition was held on the same weekend at the Willows in Saskatoon.  Meghan Flavel (Humboldt Collegiate) was the lone HCAA golfer to place in the top ten, finishing in a tie for sixth in the girls competition.  The Humboldt Collegiate team placed fifth in the team competition.
