Hoopla Silver for Middle Lake Boys Basketball Team The Middle Lake Boys Basketball team captured the 1A Boys silver medal at the 2009 SHSAA Provincial Basketball Championships ("Hoopla") on Mar. 21.  Middle Lake defeated Lake Lenore (who placed fourth in the province) in the semifinal, but fell to a very strong Regina Harvest City team in the gold medal game.  This was the first ever appearance at Hoopla for both the Middle Lake boys and Lake Lenore boys basketball teams.   Complete SHSAA Provincial Basketball Playdown results can be found at www.shsaa.ca (choose "SHSAA Results" from the left side).  A summary of how all HCAA teams fared in the 2009 SHSAA Basketball playdowns can be found here.
