Muenster Girls, Lake Lenore Boys Medal at Soccer Provincials       The Muenster Sr. Girls Soccer team captured the title of Provincial Champions at the 2008 SHSAA Soccer Championships held in Regina, while the Lake Lenore boys fell just short of a Provincial four-peat, capturing silver in Kipling. This was the Muenster girls' third Provincial title in a row, after capturing three silvers in a row, and their fourth Provincial Championship in the last seven years.  The Muenster girls knocked off Regina Western Christian and Rosthern Junior College by scores of 9-0 and 5-1 respectively, and defeated Osler's Valley Christian Academy 1-0 in the final to capture the Provincial title. At the Boys 1A Provincials, Lake Lenore won their first game over Regina Western Christian by a score of 4-1.  Their next match was the semifinal against Chief Little Pine/Poundmaker in the semi final, with Lake Lenore prevailing 3-1 on the strength of a hat trick by Lane Forster. This put the them in the final against Osler VCA.  Despite playing a great game, the Lake Lenore boys could not penetrate Osler's strong defense and lost in the gold medal match by a score of 2-0.       Also at the 1A Boys Championship, Middle Lake lost their first round match, falling to the B side.  On the B side, they won the next match to advance to the fifth place game, but came short to claim sixth. The HCAA was well-represented at Provincials this year, with 5 of the 16 teams at 1A Boys and Girls Provincials combined from our District.  In the girls event, Lake Lenore finished fourth and Middle Lake finished fifth.  At the boys championship, Middle Lake finished sixth.
